SVEU (Simian Vaccine Evaluation Unit – ASP application)
Under the SVEU program, ABL developed, and continues to maintain, a preclinical nonhuman primate study database. This effort has created a central repository that houses preclinical immunogenicity and efficacy data related to the evaluation of HIV vaccine candidates in nonhuman primate animal models. Information that is stored and tracked within this system includes SVEU study protocol information (i.e., test article and formulation, immunization schedules, nonhuman primate identification numbers, assays to be conducted and by whom, efficacy assessment, etc.) as well as cellular and humoral immunogenicity data obtained from the various outside laboratories.
PEGASIS (Pages for Grants and SVEU Information System)
The PEGASIS database system is a highly flexible management level query tool/engine of the data stored in the SVEU database. It features basic and advanced search engines to cater to different user needs. The system is programmed using the .NET framework and users access the system through a web browser.
ABLIMS (ABL LIMS system for preclinical based organizations)
ABL is in the first phase of a multi-phase application development that will allow entry, tracking, organization, automating and reporting of test samples, freezer inventory, and non human primate information. We have released a prototype of the freezer sample inventory system, and have gathered user feedback and continue to develop that model based on feedback.
